Saving Money and Bills

We cut the cord on Monday. We had our local cable company disconnect the money sucking line from our house. After 14 years of being tied to Time Warner Cable and their ever raising rates, channel black outs, weak signals and down lines, we are done having them be our cable provider. We were paying over 120$ a month on cable and Internet. We are still having them as our Internet provider, but we bought a Roku box for our television watching.
It took about 5 minutes to unpack the system and connect it to the t.v., then connect our online account to the television. No more bills, unless we choose to have one. We get free streaming through Crackle, Pandora, and other free channels. Thousands of movies, documentaries, music channels, cartoons, Disney channels, classic movie channels,  all sorts of options. There are channels that you can pay for. Netflix being one of them. Most of the channels you can purchase are 4.95 a month, Netflix goes to 7.95 a month. No more outrageous cable bills. Now the show starts when we want it to, same with the movies. No more missing the beginning, or only having so many hours to view it.

LIKE! No cable here, either. Digital antenna, computer, and Netflix. Nuts to TWC.
